Mr. Bormann did his under-grad schooling at Briar Cliff in History, with an Education endorsement. He then went on to get his first masters at Wayne State in Physical Education, he obtained his second masters in School Administration. He was in the graduating class of 1986 at Briar Cliff.
Mr. Bormann worked at Emerson Hubbard High School before coming to WC, there he taught high school Social Studies. He also coached football, basketball, baseball, and track. While serving as athletic director.

Dan lives in Moville with his wife Lynne, his daughter Brittni(22) his two sons Brent (17) and Ryan (15). His oldest son AJ(26) is in college at Morningside College.
