Congrats to the finalists and winners of the Pi Reciting Contest! First place goes to Sidnie Graff with 89 digits memorized. Second place is Collin Kunkel with 78 digits. Tied for 3rd place is Kendall Fouts and Alec Still with 51 digits. Fourth place is Daulton Christiansen with 39 and fifth place is Owen Hubert with 36 digits. Logan Hammond and Trevor Clark tied for 6th place with 28 digits! Close behind were Hanna Stratton and Brent Bormann with 27 and 26 digits respectfully! Other participants were Mitchell Countryman, Madison Peterson, John Groetken, Xander Doucette, Nate Monahan, Hunter Koehn, Lauryn Sullivan, Seth Stamm, Carter Schultzen, and Brandon Stender. The United State Navy Band will present a concert at Morningside College on March 29th, 7:30 p.m., Eppley Auditorium. That is great, but it gets even better because our very own Kurt Countryman has been selected to PERFORM with the Band. He will performing on one song with the Band.
The concert is FREE, but you must have a ticket to enter. You may get tickets by visiting: morningside.edu/navyband Order the tickets you want, print them off, and bring them to the concert.
