ANNOUNCEMENTS:

 

Makenna Herbold – see Becky in the office this morning.

 

All 8 - 11th graders that are planning to play football this fall please sign up in the office THIS WEEK - I need to make sure I have enough uniforms!  This is very important, I need to know numbers. Thanks Coach Lilly

 

Wrestling:

Busy weekend for wrestling, as everyone was in action.

 

We had 5 guys place at the 26 team Herb Irgens tournament in Ida Grove.

Wade Mitchell got 4^th, and beat the #1 ranked kid in state in 1A, and wrestled the #2 ranked kid in 1A to a 5-3 match.

Garrett Arment finished 5^th, Teren Davidson and Jim Moss both finished 7^th and Anthony Baird finished 8^th

 

Everyone else traveled to Sioux City North where we claimed 5 championships: Casey Beaver, Ben Burbach, Gage Libke, Eric Hoffman, and Jake Dennison, with Jake Kuntz and Jaden Hamman both taking 2^nd.

 

JV travels to Lawton tonight – Bus leaves at 3:45.

Varsity and JV are at Sioux City East tomorrow – bus will leave at 4:00 – Grey Singlets.

 

Big Night tonight on the court as WC hosts LB !!

Good luck JV/V Girls and Boys Basketball today at Home vs. LB - 4:00

Saturday, February 4^th Need Volunteers for the 4^th  annual Quiltin’ Bee at the Moville Community Center.  Proceeds will be given to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center Assistance Program.   Volunteers will help quilters carry sewing machines and supplies from their car to a table.(snacks available for volunteers)   

Morning shift(8-9:30am)      Evening shift      (7-8:30pm)    Sign up sheet is in Mr. Baldwin's room. 

 

Anyone interested in attending a Baseball Hitting Camp January 28^th.   Stop in the office for more information.

 

The Sweetheart Dance is scheduled for Friday, Feb 24^th 

 

Seniors: If you would like your graded rubrics and papers from your Social Problems Semester project, stop in and get them from Reinders. She will be tossing them after about a week or so. Thanks.
