Phenomenal day of wrestling Saturday at Sectionals:

We didn’t have a full line-up, but there’s no doubt the Cats stole the show Saturday – with all 10 guys wrestling at or above their seed, several guys coming back to avenge losses from earlier in the year, or beating guys with better records than us. There were at least a dozen instances of opposing fans, opposing coaches, or referees that took the time to specifically come tell us how impressed they were with how hard all our guys wrestled! (Even one instance of a little kid from an opposing school telling his mom he wanted to be a Wildcat!) Very impressive day, and a testament to how hard all these guys worked all year!

Congrats to Sectionals Champs Garrett Arment, Cody Zellmer, Jim Moss, and Logan Beller, along with Runner-up and fellow District Qualifier Teren Davidson.

Jake Dennison finished 3rd. Casey Beaver, Anthony Baird, and Abe Ruhrer finished 4th, and Sean Parks finished 6th.

The 5 qualifiers next wrestle Saturday at Sibley as they look to advance to the State Tournament!
